Welcome to the St. James AME Church, Los Angeles website. We are so grateful that you have paid us a visit. We hope that this will not be your last visit to our site, as we are making updates

St. James AME Church, Los Angeles, was founded in 1948 and is in the Southern California Conference, Fifth Episcopal District.

In 1970, the congregation moved to its current location, under the pastoral leadership of Rev, D. Najuma Smith, Senior Pastor. Rev. D. N. Smith.

"Our 2010-2011 theme United in Worship and Mission is a call for believers to come together on One accord to fulfill the Mission of God as the 21st Century Church."
